RECARO Subsidy Programme with FAZURA + MyCRS Subsidy

During the tabling of Budget 2022 (Bajet 2022), it was revealed that the government will subsidize the purchase of child restraint systems (CRS) or child seats to make them more affordable for parents, particularly those from the B40 group.

Under the plan, parents who purchase a child seat worth RM300 and below will get a 50% subsidy from the original price, while a maximum subsidy of RM150 will be provided when purchasing a child seat that exceeds RM301.

Who is eligible for MyCRS?

Beneficiaries from the B40 household category
Applicants must be aged 21 years and above
Citizens residing in Malaysia
Have a child/adopted child/foster child aged 12 years and below
Key data reference from Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat 2021 (BPR 2021) recipients based on information received by LHDN/e-Kasih ICU
One family can only claim the subsidy for one CRS

How do I apply for MyCRS?

Application for the CRS Subsidy System is from 1 March 2022 – 30 September 2022
Documents required: Identification Card (MyCard)
Application process:
1. Make an Application: Applicants are required to complete the application on the MyCRS Website beginning 1 March 2022.
2. Check for Results: Applicants may check the results of their subsidy applications beginning 1 April 2022.
3. Make a Purchase: Eligible applicants can redeem the subsidy through a purchase at a rebate price with an authorized retailer listed on the website.
4. Use the Purchased CRS: After receiving the CRS, you are encouraged to use it at all times with your child.
