Yes. The RECARO Xenon 1 is suitable from birth (40 cm) and comes with a newborn insert for ergonomic support. In rear-facing mode, the RECARO Xenon 1 reclines up to 165°, allowing newborns to travel in a flatter position.
3. How long should my child face rear in the RECARO Xenon 1?
In the RECARO Xenon 1,children must travel rear-facing until at least 15 months old. A built-insafety lock prevents the RECARO Xenon 1 from being turned forward-facing before then. RECARO recommends rear-facing travel for as long as possible, up to 105cm.
4. How do you install the RECARO Xenon 1 at each stage?
The RECARO Xenon 1 is installed in three stages. From 40 cm to 105 cm, it is used rear-facing with ISOFIX, the support leg and the seat's own harness, which is the recommended position. From 76 cm to 105 cm, it can be used forward-facing with ISOFIX, thesupport leg and the harness. From 100 cm to 125 cm, it is used forward-facing without the support leg, with the car's seatbelt securing the child.
5. Which safety standard is the RECARO Xenon 1 certified to?
The RECARO Xenon 1 is certified to UN ECE R129 (i-Size), the latest European child car seat safety standard, which classifies seats by the child's height.
6. Is a 360° rotating carseat like the RECARO Xenon 1 worth it?
